Female entrepreneurs, tech founders to benefit from HerMoneyClinic | The Guardian Nigeria News

Targeted at helping female entrepreneurs and tech founders raise funds for their businesses, Simply Exponential Consult Limited with support from She Works Here has set up a Learning Management System (LMS) and an all female pre-accelerator programme tagged, HerMoneyClinic.

 

The partnership, which is through a grant from the United States African Development Foundation (USADF), will give women the opportunity to register for the training programme at a highly subsidised fee. This programme will help them build capacity, increase investment – readiness and link female entrepreneurs to appropriate sources of finance to grow/expand their businesses by leveraging on debt, and equity or grants

Speaking during its webinar launch, the Managing Consultant and founder, Simply Exponential Consult Limited, Fayo Williams, said she is poised to help people and organisations attain set goals in the areas of human capital development and Business Management.

“It is a Nigerian-owned company with international affiliations. We are very excited at the opportunity given us to scale our training operations, leveraging on technology”.

While Managing Director of She Works Here, Thelma Ekiyor said, “Our Small Women Owned Businesses (SWOB) programme funded by the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) made the grant available specifically to support women in business who were affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic”. She Works Here is proud to support your organisation and we look forward to a constructive relationship”.

The grant agreement letter sent to SECL on the 16th day of September 2021 stated that one of the purposes is to ‘Develop a Virtual Incubator and Learning Management System’.

HerMoneyClinic is an online access to finance pre-accelerator (four weeks plus four Masterclasses) were factors limiting Women Owned Businesses are diagnosed and addressed.

While the business environment requirements and regulatory context are drawn from Nigeria, the course covers access to finance principles that apply globally.
