NBBF Women’s League Final 8 Set As Top Teams Advance To Playoffs

Defending champions MFM Basketball Club, alongside First Bank, Dolphins, Customs, Royal Aces, and Air Warriors, have secured their spots in the highly anticipated Final 8 playoffs of the NBBF Women’s Basketball League.

These teams finished in the top four of their respective Atlantic and Savannah conferences, showing impressive form throughout the competition.

In the Atlantic Conference, MFM and First Bank dominated, with First Bank particularly standing out after defeating defending champions MFM in a close 52-51 game during the first phase. Dolphins and Bayelsa Whales also performed well, ensuring their spots in the playoffs alongside MFM and First Bank.

On the Savannah side, Customs Women’s Basketball Team remained undefeated, sealing their dominance with a decisive victory over Air Warriors. Royal Aces also excelled, defeating Kada Angels 86-56 to claim a playoff spot. These teams, along with the Nigerian Army, are poised for the final stage in Lagos.

The NBBF Women’s Basketball League Final 8 playoffs are set to take place in Lagos from October 13 to 19, 2024.
