?Everything is available there. I lived like an ?Ajebutter? - BlessingCEO shares her prison experience

Famous self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has shared her prison experience.

Recall that Blessing was sent to prison in March 2023 for alleged cyber-bullying over her involvement in Lagos celebrity auto dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, popularly known as IVD, and his late wife, Bimbo Ogbonna’s case. She however gained her freedom in April 2023.

In a recent interview with DaddyFreeze, Blessing shared her experience while in prison.

She  stated that her first day in prison was traumatic. She said upon her arrival at the prison, her phone was taken from her as well as her wig and other items. She claimed she was made to strip nak3d and was searched thoroughly by the wardens.

She said she was then thrown inside a bed bug infested room where she and two young ladies passed their first night. According to her, by the second day, she was taken to her cell where she met other Inmates. She stated that life in prison is like a boarding house which you can make it as comfortable as you deem fit.

She mentioned that prisoners have access to the general food and can also purchase sumptuous but pricey meals provided by restaurants situated in the prison. She said that the prison she was in had a phone booth where the inmates are allowed to telephone their loved ones.

On how she was able to upload a photo while she was still in prison custody, Blessing said;

‘’You have like a phone booth but phones are not allowed. Phones are like contraband.  Some people will always find ways to sneak in these phones. That's the truth. And you know we are in a corrupt country, they always have their ways around. Just like contrandands. But phones are officially not allowed.

After two days when I got into prison, I needed to do a transfer to someone so I went to beg one of the wardens She now gave me my phone and asked me to sit down and do the transfer.

Busybody like me, as I finished with the transfer, I went on to  post a photo on Instagram. Everywhere scattered. ‘Blessing was not in prison, she posted’. I didn't even know I was trending online because I have posted what I wanted to post and I wrote ‘One man mopol, no shaking’.

By 1am, they came knocking on our cell, about seven wardens. They came to search all of us. ‘Contraband was everywhere’. So they thought I had a phone. They didn't know I just posted and dropped the phone. So they came to search me because they thought I had a phone''
