Actress Bimbo Akintola Talks About How Some Actresses Are Richer Than Others...

Nollywood actress Bimbo Akintola talks about how some of her colleagues make more money than others...... She also says she is not rich and does not really know what they do to be so rich......
During a recent interview, she said;
"People can't understand where the money for a lot of actresses is coming from because we all know what the industry is all about, we all know how much we earn and how much we 'Can' earn.
Except you have money from home, maybe you are from a rich family.Some of these lifestyles that we see, especially on social media can be real and if it is real, where is it from?
People come up to me and say;'Oh!, look at these actresses, they are very rich' and me I would say 'I don't know about that cause me i am not rich, when you see them, you can ask them what they do', I say it all the time.
We know how much they sell films, Iroko has not gone past 4 or 5 million naira for a while film African Magic just went back to 4 million, they were initially N1.2 for a whole film plus crew and everything inside.
Then there's Netflix, though it's international and the money is bigger but we also know how much people earn in Cinema films, though we started with Cinema at first.....
So for a lot of actresses that I see, I don't know if they are from very rich homes or there's other businesses that they do because there has to be with the amount of wealth that our colleagues show......
And ofcourse, we've also heard stories of actresses dating politicians and doing stuff for politicians and getting paid for it, we all know that things like that happen
But it's not just actresses that do that, women in Nigeria do that because the poverty level is pretty high so a lot of ladies are like whatever I can do to sustain myself and my family, I can do that".
