Moses Simon has expressed satisfaction with the Super Eagles victory over the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

The three-time African champions laboured to a 1-0 victory over Nasser Al-Hadiri’s side in Uyo on Friday.

Lazio midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored the winning goal for the Super Eagles four minutes from time.

Simon said getting the three points is the most important thing.

“We all know it was going to be difficult and we prepared very well for the game. The most important thing is victory and the fact that nobody is injured which is a good one for us,” he said after the game.

The Nantes of France player also shared his expectations ahead of the reverse fixture.

“We are mentally ready, we know they will want to win which will make the game to be a little be opened,” he added.

“It’s going to be difficult out there with their fans supporting them but we have the experience to cope with that.”
