Amokachi new coach of Lobi Stars

Former Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi has been appointed the new coach of NPFL club Lobi Stars.

According to Lobi Stars management, coach Eugene Abagbe failed to meet up with the board’s five- match win target, as he won one and lost three and as such they decided to dismiss him.

The Makurdi side have now announced that ‘The Bull’ Amokachi has been appointed with immediate effect in an attempt to “revitalize its strategy and improve performance on the pitch”.

Amokachi has thus joined former Super Eagles teammates Finidi George and Emmanuel Amuneke as coaches in the NPFL after they were recently linked with the Super Eagles top coaching post.
