Olympic champion Julien Alfred added another award to her iconic collections by being named the Olympic Female Athlete of the Year by ANOC.

Saint Lucia's golden girl Julien Alfred has been honoured with another prestigious recognition after being named the Female Athlete of the Year at the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) Awards.

Alfred had an iconic 2024 season that saw her scoop all major titles this season, making her the undisputed sprint queen of the year.

Julien Alfred won the Olympic 100m gold medal in Paris

The 24-year-old became the World Indoors 60m champion, Olympic 100m champion, and Wanda Diamond League 100m champion, thus making her the first athlete in Saint Lucia's history to attain all feats.

For her outstanding accomplishments, Alfred won big at the inaugural CANOC Sports Awards, which celebrated Caribbean’s finest athletes, teams, and sports leaders. She was named the Caribbean Female Sports Personality of the Year and shared the Breakthrough Award with triple jumper Thea LaFond (Commonwealth of Dominica).

Alfred's latest recognition as the Female Athlete of the Year at the ANOC Awards further testifies to her amazing season as one of the world's most outstanding athletes for the year.

With the 2025 season on the horizon, Alfred will hope to build on her dominant form this year and produce more iconic performances in her career.
