Ariehri Kparobo Gives Credit To Beyond Limit FC, Flying Eagles’ Colleagues, After MVP Award In WAFU B Final

Beyond Limit Football Academy of Ikenne sensation, Ariehri Kparobo has given credit to his club and colleagues in Nigeria’s under-20 national team for his emergence as man of the match in the WAFU B qualifiers’ final.

Kparobo was voted as the most valuable player after netting both goals that earned Nigeria a 2-1 win over Ghana in Wednesday’s game, but the youngster admitted he could not have achieved it all by himself alone

He equally thanked God, the Flying Eagles’ crew, and all fans that supported the team, as he admitted in an exclusive interview with sports247.ng that winning the competition in Lome, Togo was not an easy task.

Kparobo retorted: “It’s a victory for me and the team. I must say I am very happy, because it’s not an easy task.

“Finally, we got what we worked for and what we needed. So, we are very happy. It’s a big thing for the team and for me.”

He also spoke about his brace of goals in Wednesday’s final, and though he pointed out that he felt he would score, he never thought he would net two goals that gave Nigeria the cup.

“I had it in mind that I was going to score because I was free of any burden on my mind.

“I was fully focused, and there was no pressure on me. There was nothing for me to worry about.

“Although I was not expecting to get two goals, I just had it in mind that I was going to score.

“I eventually scored two goals in the final, and I am very happy for that,” said Kparobo, who was born on January 11, 2007.

He also celebrated his total feat of three goals in the competition, which serves as qualifiers for the 2025 African U20 Cup of Nations.

“Getting three goals in this competition is a big motivation for me because I wasn’t expecting too much for myself.

“I took this as something for the whole country, not just myself. So, I am happy that I was able to do my best and compete well.

“I am also happy that I was able to get three goals in total and help Nigeria win the cup. I am very happy for all of that,” the youngster disclosed.

He concluded with his vote of thanks to his teammates in the Flying Eagles and everyone at Beyond Limit FA, which he praised for helping him shape his fledgling career.

“I dedicate my man of the match award in the final to my teammates in this national under-20 camp and everyone at my club in Nigeria.

“It’s because of their work on my career that I am here. That’s why I say thank you to them all.

“I also thank my teammates in this under-20 team for supporting me to score those goals and win the best player award.

“I dedicate it to them, and I see it as a motivation for me to do even better. I will now go home and train hard.

“I want to focus more on my career and make sure I reach the top. I want to continue growing in my football career,” Kparobo concluded
