The winning goal came via an own goal by Dmytro Riznyk in the 30th minute, following Martinelli’s shot that hit the post.

Early chances went begging for Gabriel Jesus and Riccardo Calafiori. Leandro Trossard also had two opportunities but shot wide.

In the second half, Trossard’s penalty was saved by Riznyk, while David Raya made a crucial injury-time stop to deny Pedrinho.

Mikel Merino and Raheem Sterling entered the fray after halftime.

With seven points from three games, Arsenal sits fifth ahead of Wednesday’s matches. This hard-fought victory showcases their resilience and sets them up for a strong Champions League run.
