Arsenal struck first, with Bukayo Saka scoring in the ninth minute. However, Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk quickly equalized in the 18th minute, bringing the score to 1-1.

Arsenal regained the lead just before halftime, thanks to Mikel Merino’s goal in the 43rd minute.

The second half saw Liverpool pushing for an equalizer, which finally came in the 81st minute courtesy of Mohamed Salah. The goal sealed the 2-2 draw, leaving both teams with a share of the points.

The draw propelled Liverpool to second place in the league standings with 22 points, trailing leaders Manchester City by just one point. Arsenal moved up to fourth place with 18 points.

Elsewhere in the league, Chelsea secured a 2-1 victory over Newcastle, West Ham United defeated Manchester United 2-1, and Crystal Palace won 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur.
