Asake features on NBA 2K25 official soundtrack album

The Nigerian superstar is part of a historic feat, joining other acts from all over the world.

Nigerian buzzing singer Asake has been featured in the 2025 edition of the popular basketball video game, NBA 2K25.

NBA 2K25 is a 2024 sports game developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, based on the National Basketball Association. It is the 26th installment in the NBA 2K series and the successor to NBA 2K24, which sold over 9 million units. The latest version of the game was released on September 6, 2024, for gaming consoles like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Neo-Fuji star Asake, alongside other global talents, was featured on the soundtrack with his smash hit 'Wave,' which includes a collaboration with British rapper Central Cee. The soundtrack also features names like Lil Pete, Key Glock, and a host of others.

Asake joins Seun Kuti, Adekunle Gold, and Burna Boy as Nigerian stars featured on the soundtrack album for the popular game. This achievement follows the recent news of Nigerian stars Rema, Omah Lay, Shallipopi, and Obongjayar being included on the official soundtrack for the EA Sports FIFA/FC 25 video game in September.
