Baby girl rushed to the hospital after being found alive at her own FUNERAL

In a tragic and shocking incident, an eight-month-old girl, Kiara Crislayne de Moura dos Santos, was rushed back to the hospital after mourners at her funeral noticed she was moving her hand in her coffin.

The funeral took place in Correia Pinto, Brazil, on October 19, after Kiara had been declared dead earlier that day.

Kiara had been admitted to Faustino Riscarolli Hospital in the early hours of the morning, where doctors found no signs of life and declared her dead.

Funeral director Aureo Arruda Ramos collected the body two hours later, and preparations for the funeral began.

The service started at 7 p.m., but it came to a sudden halt when a mourner noticed the baby’s hand moving.

When another person touched the baby’s hand, her fingers curled, sparking a rush to get medical help.

Firefighter paramedics arrived and found the baby still had a pulse, with an oxygen saturation level of 84 per cent.

Noticing the absence of rigor mortis, they rushed her back to the hospital.

However, upon her return, Kiara’s heart stopped again, and she was declared dead for the second time within 24 hours.

Her devastated father, Cristiano Santos, expressed his sorrow: “We were devastated already. Then there came a little bit of hope, but then this ended up happening.”

The hospital, facing an investigation by Brazil’s Scientific Police, acknowledged their initial declaration of death 16 hours before the baby was found with a pulse.

The hospital later confirmed the second death.

Correia Pinto City Hall apologized to the family and promised a full investigation, with a report expected in 30 days.

A spokesperson stated: “The Municipality of Correia Pinto reiterates its commitment to provide the best care for all citizens… ensuring that people’s lives and well-being are always the priority.”

It remains unclear whether Kiara’s parents plan to pursue legal action against the hospital.
