Basketmouth criticizes colleagues’ begging on stage

Comedian and actor Basketmouth has spoken about how some of his colleagues’ begging behavior bothers him.

He questioned if they were “crazy” for doing it and urged them to stop, saying it takes away from their talent.

He also recalled a time when a man threw money at him while he was on stage, leaving him embarrassed.

In a chat on the CreativiTea Live with Linda podcast, Basketmouth discussed his new movie, ‘A Ghetto Love Story’.

At 46, he encouraged his peers to work with younger talents, stating that while he has valuable experience, he is open to sharing his platform and learning from the next generation.

Basketmouth also shared that two sponsors pulled out from supporting his movie, which was tough for him, but he managed to raise N300 million in just 12 hours.
