BBNaija: Victoria speaks about relationship with Shaun

Victoria, a finalist from Big Brother Naija Season 9, has spoken about her relationship with fellow contestant Shaun Okojie.

The two initially entered the house as a couple, known as Shatoria, but were later separated.

Shaun soon began a romantic relationship with another housemate, Wanni, just a few weeks into the competition.

This led to speculation about a prior romantic link between Shaun and Victoria before the show.

In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Victoria admitted that she and Shaun had a past together, explaining, “I will be very honest: I and Shaun did have a bit of back and forth during the lockdown; we were fighting over silly things.”

She shared that their relationship was affected by “petty arguments” during the lockdown period, which strained their connection.

Shaun found comfort in Wanni, while Victoria had to navigate her feelings alone.

Victoria also revealed that Wanni asked her directly about her past with Shaun. “Even Wanni asked if me and Shaun had something, I told her no,” she added.

Despite the emotional challenges, Victoria stated, “Going into the house, I knew I wasn’t going to like anybody because my standards are very high, I know what I want.”
