TODAY’S TRANSFORMATIONAL TRUTH 2ND NOVEMBER 2024 – #Be Patient
Hello Friends,
I hope you’re feeling inspired today! On Triple T, we’re delving into a vital theme that teaches us the power of endurance: #BE PATIENT.
Let me begin by saying, “Patience is not simply the ability to wait; it’s how we behave while we’re waiting.” In our fast-paced world, the virtue of patience often gets overlooked, yet it is essential for achieving lasting success. The Ultimate Book reminds us in James 1:4, “Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” Friends, “When we practice patience, we cultivate strength and resilience that can lead to greatness.”
Consider the remarkable story of Pastor David Ibiyeomie, a prominent Nigerian pastor, founder of Salvation Ministries, and an influential leader in the Christian community. Growing up in a modest family in Port Harcourt, David faced significant challenges. His journey to establishing a thriving church was filled with trials, including financial struggles and moments of discouragement.
After completing his studies, David felt a strong calling to serve God, but the road was anything but smooth. He encountered numerous obstacles in the early days of his ministry. Many people doubted his vision, and he often found himself preaching to small congregations. However, David remained steadfast and patient, believing that God had a plan for his life and ministry.
Through years of consistent hard work, faithfulness, and patience, his church began to grow. He focused on empowering others and serving his community, and gradually, Salvation Ministries expanded, attracting thousands of worshippers. Today, it is one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in Nigeria, with multiple branches across the country and abroad.
David Ibiyeomie’s story teaches us that “Patience, coupled with perseverance, can transform dreams into reality.” His commitment to his calling and his willingness to wait on God’s timing led to extraordinary blessings in his life and ministry.
As people of faith, we understand that “God’s timing is always perfect.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Friends, “When we are patient, we align ourselves with God’s purpose and timing, trusting that He is working behind the scenes.”
As I conclude, let me encourage you that “Patience is an investment in our future.” Whether you are waiting for a breakthrough in your career, relationships, or personal goals, remember that every moment of waiting has a purpose.
In conclusion, I urge you today to BE PATIENT. Embrace the process and trust that good things are coming your way in God’s perfect timing.
