English Premier League club Bournemouth could challenge Aston Villa and Chelsea for Nigerian striker Uche Christantus, who plies his trade for La Liga club Getafe, Soccernet.ng reports.

Uche has attracted a lot of interest since he joined Getafe in the summer. The 21-year-old striker joined the club from lower league club Ceuta, and he has quickly adapted to life in La Liga.

Uche has become the first-choice striker at Getafe and has registered one goal in 11 league appearances. But despite his paltry goal involvements, the Nigeria striker has been attracting a lot of attention from clubs in La Liga and abroad.

Soccernet.ng has previous reported that Real Sociedad, Newcastle United, Chelsea, and Aston Villa have been scouting Uche. But it now seems they have company.

This is as Transfer News Live reports that Bournemouth are keenly monitoring the 21-year-old.

The Cherries Dominic Solanke to Tottenham in the last summer transfer window, and they are looking to add more options to their attack.

Uche is still quite affordable, as he would cost less than €10 million. And for a club like Bournemouth that usually has a small budget, the Nigerian could be a good option. However, nothing is concrete yet.

Since leaving Nigeria in 2022, Uche has plied his trade in Spain. Leaving for the Premier League would be a big switch for him.
