BREAKING: IGP Mourns 5 Policemen Who Lost Their Lives In Ghastly Motor Accident

The Inspector General of Police IGP Kayode Egbetokun has commiserated with the Kano State Police Command, families, and friends of the five (5) policemen who lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident.

The five officers lost their lives in the accident on Tuesday at Karfi village in Kura Local Government Area of Kano State, along the Zaria-Kano Expressway, while returning to Kano after the Edo State election duties.

According to a statement issued by the Force Spokesman ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi on Wednesday evening, IGP Egbetokun prayed for the repose of the departed souls.

The Edo State governorship off-cycle election took place on Saturday, September 21st, 2024.
