Cadbury Nigeria Appoints Abhiroop Chuckarbutty As Non-Executive Director

Cadbury Nigeria PLC has appointed Abhiroop Chuckarbutty as its Non-Executive Director, effective October 25, 2024.

This development was disclosed to the Nigerian Exchange Limited and the investing public.

Chuckarbutty currently serves as the Business Unit President for Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) at Mondelēz International and is a member of the company’s Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa (AMEA) Leadership Team, overseeing the operational strategy and long-term growth of SSA markets.

Before joining Mondelēz, Chuckarbutty was the President of Lipton Teas & Infusions, where he spearheaded the business as a standalone entity after its separation from Unilever.

His career spans more than two decades at Unilever, where he held key roles in sales, media, and marketing, beginning at Hindustan Unilever Limited. His last role at Unilever was Vice President for Foods & Refreshments in North Africa and the Middle East.

Cadbury Nigeria’s Board of Directors has warmly welcomed Chuckarbutty and expressed confidence in his ability to bring valuable experience to the company.
