Nigeria international forward Samuel Chukwueze was once again pivotal for AC Milan in their UEFA Champions League 3-1 come back win over ten man Club Brugge in the UEFA Champions League, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Fresh from his match winner against Udinese which also earned him the player of the match , the Nigerian was surprisingly dropped to the bench for the UEFA Champions League game for Portuguese star Rafael Leao.

He was introduced in the 60th minute with scores tied at 1-1 and the Belgians reduced to ten men following the sending off of Chukwueze’s international teammate for Nigeria Raphael Onyedika after a review by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).

Five minutes after his introduction Tijjani Reijnders put Arsenal Milan ahead for the first time in the game, before Chukwueze showed his usefulness with an assist for Reijnders for his brace, which helped his team extend their lead to a 3-1 win.

It was their first win of the series, and it is a much needed boost ahead of their next game against defending champions Real Madrid in two weeks time.
