Sevilla’s manager, Garcia Pimienta, has expressed his confidence in Super Eagles forward, Kelechi Iheanacho’s ability to make a significant impact on the Spanish club.

Kelechi Iheanacho, who joined Sevilla on a free transfer in the summer, is yet to hit his stride and has only made one start for the team as they navigate a challenging season near the relegation zone.

As Sevilla prepare to face Real Valladolid at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium, Pimienta emphasized his belief in Iheanacho’s talent and stressed the importance of a strong performance from the entire team.

Pimienta highlighted Iheanacho’s proven track record and quality, acknowledging that he faced a challenging game previously because the player came on without properly warming up.

Ahead of Sevilla’s Spanish La Liga clash with Valladolid, which will kick off at 6 p.m. later today, Pimienta called on Iheanacho and the rest of the team to step up, emphasizing that Iheanacho possesses the necessary skill to succeed at Sevilla.

“Everyone, whoever plays up front tomorrow [today] has to do well. Kelechi is a proven player”, Pimienta told the club’s official website.

“The other day he had a difficult game because he came on without warming up. Just like the rest, he has to take a step forward because he has the quality to do it at Sevilla.”
