Chelsea's midfielder, Cole Palmer, has been named England's best player for the 2023/24 season following his impressive performance for the Blues across all competitions.

The English FA confirmed the news on its official X account on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. Cole Palmer won the award despite having lesser game time at the just concluded European Championship ( Euro 2024) , where he scored just one goal in the competition.

Cole Palmer his first England goal in a friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina and his second in the final of Euro 2024 against Spain. Real Madrid forward player Jude Bellingham finished in second place while Arsenal's Bukayo Saka is the third best England player, this ranking was confirmed after the votes by England fans was completed.

The 22-year-old has only made two starts for the Three Lions, with seven more substitute appearances, but he has made a huge impression across those nine games, scoring his first England goal in a friendly against Bosnia-Herzegovina and his second in the final of Euro 2024 against Spain.
