Chelsea’s rising star Cole Palmer has been named the EA SPORTS Premier League Player of the Month for September 2024. Palmer’s exceptional form throughout the month, leading Chelsea’s attack, has earned him this prestigious award for the second time in his career.

Palmer, 22, was unstoppable in September, scoring five goals and providing an assist in just four matches. His standout moment came during Chelsea’s remarkable 6-1 win over Brighton & Hove Albion, where he became the first player in Premier League history to score four goals in the first half of a match. His rapid-fire strikes, completed within 21 minutes, left fans and pundits in awe.

Speaking about Palmer’s form, Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino said, “He’s shown maturity beyond his years. His finishing is top-class, and he has a great understanding of the game.”

Palmer also contributed an assist in Chelsea’s 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace and scored in their 3-0 victory over West Ham United. His consistency is undeniable, and this latest award comes after he previously won the Player of the Month in April 2024.

Chelsea celebrated Palmer’s achievement on social media. The club posted, “It had to be him. Cole Palmer is the Premier League Player of the Month for September.”

Palmer will now look to continue his fine form as Chelsea prepares for a key clash against Liverpool at Anfield later this month.
