Augustine Eguavoen has said he will be charge of the Super Eagles for the remaining 2025 AFCON qualifiers.

The Super Eagles will battle Libya this month in a double-header before a home game against Rwanda and away trip to Benin next month.

“My bosses have confirmed I will continue for the rest of the AFCON qualifiers, I thank God for that,” he announced.

“We will approach the games one after the other.

“We respect the other teams, but we will do everything possible to qualify for the AFCON.”

Nigeria top Group D of the AFCON qualifiers with four points after two rounds of matches.

They welcome Libya to Uyo on October 11, before both teams clash again four days later in Benina.

The 2025 AFCON will be staged in Morocco from December 2025.
