The head coach of Chelsea Football Club, Enzo Maresca, wrote his name into the history book of the Premier League by equaling Pep Guardiola's record.

The Italian International became the first manager in Premier League history to win his first three away goals, a feat that has only been achieved by Manchester City's Pep Guardiola in 2016. This achievement was completed after Chelsea's impressive 3-0 victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Enzo Maresca achieved this feat in the games against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Bournemouth, and West Ham. On the other hand, Pep Guardiola achieved his own feat against Swansea, Manchester United and Swansea, respectively, in 2016.

Chelsea have not lost a game this season since the opening day fixture against the Premier League Champions, Manchester City. They have since gone to win three games and draw one which was against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge.

On the other hand, Chelsea have won five consecutive away top-flight matches for the first time since December 2021 under Thomas Tuchel.
