EPL: Diaz continues fine form with double as Liverpool thrash Bournemouth 3-0

Luis Diaz scored twice in quick succession to guide Liverpool to a thorough 3-0 win over Bournemouth at Anfield.

The Saturday afternoon Premier League clash saw the Reds bounce back from last week’s shock loss to Nottingham Forest.

Bournemouth appeared to have taken an early lead, but VAR ruled out the goal for offside.

Liverpool then took full advantage, with Diaz finally breaking through in the 26th minute after beating goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga to a long ball.

Just three minutes later, Diaz struck again, finishing off a quick Liverpool counter-attack.

Darwin Núñez added the third, curling in a brilliant left-footed shot after a burst of speed to cap off the win.
