EPL: Man City Identify Midfielder To Sign As De Bruyne’s Replacement

Premier League champions, Manchester City are ready to go all out for Bayer Leverkusen star, Florian Wirtz as Kevin De Bruyne’s replacement.

The 21-year-old German playmaker is considered one of the most sought-after youngsters in European football.

According to Sky Germany, City view Wirtz as the ideal player to fill De Bruyne’s shoes if the Belgian decides to leave for Saudi Arabia next summer.

At 33 years old, questions are being raised about De Bruyne long-term fitness and form, as the midfielder has already being linked with a mouthwatering move to Al Nasr in the Saudi Pro club to join Cristiano Ronaldo.

Wirtz, however, is said to prefer a move to Bayern Munich, as he would like to stay in a familiar environment for a few more seasons.
