TODAY’S TRANSFORMATIONAL TRUTH 25TH OCTOBER 2024 – #Examine Yourself

Hello Friends,

I hope you’re feeling reflective today! On Triple T, we’re diving into a theme that requires deep introspection and honesty: #EXAMINE YOURSELF.

Let me begin by saying, “You cannot grow if you don’t reflect.” As taking time to evaluate your actions, thoughts, and motives is crucial for personal growth and transformation. The Ultimate Book reminds us in 2 Corinthians 13:5, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.” Friends, “The path to true change begins when we honestly assess where we are.”

Think about the story of Benson Idahosa, a man whose journey as a Christian leader reshaped the landscape of faith in Nigeria. In his early days, when he first felt the call to ministry, Benson was deeply passionate but unsure of how to live out that call. He had heard stories of miracles in the Bible, and one day, in his boldness, he approached his pastor and asked a daring question: “Can we raise the dead like the apostles did?” His pastor, taken aback, replied, “Yes, but it requires deep faith.” That moment sparked a fire in Benson’s heart.

Determined to test his faith, he sought out opportunities to live out what he believed. When he heard of a child who had passed away in his community, Benson, with trembling hands, prayed fervently for the child’s resurrection. His faith, although young, was unshaken. To the astonishment of those around him, the child came back to life. This act wasn’t just a miracle—it was a turning point for Idahosa. Through this experience, he realized the power that comes from self-examination and a faith that is constantly tested.

Through deep reflection and self-examination, Idahosa realized that the limitations he faced were not external but internal. He resolved to align himself fully with God’s will and develop a mindset of boldness. As a result, his ministry grew, impacting millions. “When you examine yourself, God opens your eyes to what’s possible when you fully surrender to Him.”

Idahosa’s leadership in faith, education, and ministry—establishing schools, churches, and impacting the global Christian community—shows us that “When you take time to reflect and adjust, you gain the wisdom to walk in God’s perfect will for your life.”

As people of faith, we are reminded of the words of David in the Ultimate Book from Psalm 139:23-24, which says “Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.” Hear this Friends, “When you examine yourself in light of your purpose, God reveals the areas where you need to grow, and He gives you the grace to improve.”

As I conclude, let me remind you that “Self-examination is not a one-time act—it is a continuous process.” Whether in your ministry, career, or personal life, regularly assessing yourself helps you stay on track and ensures that you’re growing into the person you’re meant to be.

In conclusion, I encourage you today to EXAMINE YOURSELF. Don’t shy away from the tough questions, and don’t be afraid to make the necessary changes. Self-examination is the gateway to transformation and lasting success.
