As the highly anticipated finale of Big Brother Naija Season 9, No Loose Guard, holds today, fans are gripped with anxiety as they wait to discover who will emerge as the last housemate standing.

The season, which premiered on July 24, 2024, welcomed 14 pairs of housemates, but only one pair and six individual contestants made it to the final showdown. The finalists include Kellyrae, Wanni, Victoria, Onyeka, Ozee, Sooj, Nelly, and Anita. While all finalists have a fair shot at winning, some stand out due to their massive fan base.

Kellyrae

Many BBN enthusiasts believe that if the winner is determined solely by adherence to the No Lose Guard theme, Kellyrae would take the crown. He and his partner, Kassia—who is also his wife—entered the house under the guise of being friends. Last week, Kellyrae revealed their true relationship, explaining that they kept it secret to avoid isolation from other housemates. Fans have rallied behind him for his respectful portrayal of a married man throughout the season. Social media has been abuzz with messages of support for Kellyrae, with one fan, Onyeaka Clara, commenting on Big Brother’s page, “We are tired already, give Kelly the money. He no loose guard.”

Wanni

When it comes to passionate supporters, Wanni’s fan base is hard to beat. She brought intensity to the house with her fiery confrontations, alongside her twin sister and partner, Handi. Her involvement in a controversial relationship with another housemate, Shaun, also sparked significant buzz outside the house. Historically, fans tend to rally behind housemates who connect with their favourites, and Wanni seems to have garnered support from Shaun’s loyal followers as well. She has proven her competitiveness by winning several prizes, including a brand new Innoson vehicle.

One enthusiastic supporter Nadiscent, declared, “The money is for Wanni because she truly carried this show. Without her, it would be boring.”

Onyeka

Another strong contender is Onyeka, who captivated audiences with her vibrant personality and engaging conversations. Viewers enjoyed her lively nature and unique dance skills, which helped her forge meaningful friendships in the house. Her multifaceted talents have endeared her to many fans.

Netizen, Amii Pretty remarked, “Onyeka is a bag full of talent; she deserves to win.”

Nelita

Though Nelita’s supporters may not be as vocal in every comment section, they are certainly influential. The Nelita pair—Nelly and Anita—are the only duo remaining in the finals. Their unique bond and strategic game play have captured the attention of viewers.
