Godswill Akpabio United FC set for first big test in pre-season friendly against Rovers FC

Newly formed Godswill Akpabio United FC will face their first major challenge in a pre-season friendly match against Rovers FC. The game is scheduled to take place at the Uyo Township Stadium at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 18, 2024.

This friendly will give Akpabio FC’s head coach, Patrick Udoh, a chance to assess his players as the team continues to recruit new talent in preparation for their debut in the Nigeria National League (NNL). Their first league campaign is set to begin on November 30, 2024.

Already, Godswill Akpabio United FC have played a test game against non-league side De Ark Academy, spanking the opposition 6-1 at the Uyo Township Stadium.

Rovers FC will be looking to build on their recent outing against Dakkada FC, where both teams played to a 0-0 draw at the same venue on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
