Google has entered into an agreement with Honeywell to integrate AI technology with its industrial data, aiming to offer streamlined autonomous operations for its customers, the companies announced on Monday.

The collaboration will combine Google’s most advanced AI, Gemini, with Honeywell’s Forge platform data to automate tasks and reduce project timelines, addressing industry labour shortages.

The AI tools will assist engineers, warehouse staff, and technicians, with the first solutions expected in 2025.

Honeywell’s CEO, Vimal Kapur, stated that the partnership will enhance asset efficiency, workforce productivity, and overall operational processes.

“The path to autonomy requires assets working harder, people working smarter, and processes working more efficiently,” Vimal Kapur stated.
