Graduate appeals to Davido for job at his father’s $2b power plant

A graduate with a degree in Physics Electronics has reached out to popular singer Davido, seeking an opportunity to work at his father’s $2 billion power plant project.

The graduate, Olasupo Olakunle Nasir, posted a detailed message on X hoping to catch Davido’s attention.

Nasir wrote: “Good day @davido, I am truly impressed with the news of your father’s power plant project. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work there to kickstart my long-held dream career. I am an innovation enthusiast, and power generation is a field I am passionate about. Unfortunately, I have not had the chance to gain practical experience, as I have been focused on survival amid financial constraints.”

He added, “This project was almost the topic of my final year project in university, but financial issues prevented my colleagues and me from pursuing it. I am a graduate of Physics Electronics from the Federal University of Technology, Minna. I am also from Osun State, specifically Ede.”

Nasir also shared his admiration for the work Davido’s uncle is doing in their hometown of Ede, saying, “I admire the work your uncle is currently doing in Ede, reconstructing the main roads, particularly the one passing in front of my family house in the Cottage area, opposite the Cottage Hospital. Though I was born and raised in Kaduna State, I always return to Ede for the Ileya festivals.”

Concluding his message, Nasir said, “May Almighty God continue to bless your efforts. I hope you will consider my request, as this opportunity would help me fulfill my dream of working in this field, which I have aspired to since childhood. I promise to be a representative you and my family can be proud of.”

He signed off the message as: “Olasupo Olakunle Nasir” and included his handle, “@Kunlenasr_ on X.”Graduate appeals to Davido for job at his father’s $2b power plantGraduate appeals to Davido for job at his father’s $2b power plantGraduate appeals to Davido for job at his father’s $2b power plant
