A Nigerian man, Tayo Ikotun has said if he were a woman he would probably be on his 5th marriage because he won't make the kind of sacrifices Nigerian women make for their cheating husbands.

He stated this in a Facebook post on Tuesday, September 24, after some women revealed the number of years they waited or would wait for their husbands to return to them after being led ‘astray.’

“Last week when I made a post asking women how long they were ready to wait for a husband that has been led astray. One of my friends wrote about a woman he knew in Ilesa. He said this woman prayed and fasted for 5 years before God helped in redirecting her husband back to her life. 5 years !!,” he wrote.

"Thank God I am not a woman, because by now I'd probably be on my 5th marriage. There is no way I'd make such a sacrifice for any man except he is the only man available in the world.

"By the way, how many years do I even have on earth that I'd be dashing an oniranu husband 5 whole years????!!!

“If you are not married to a Nigerian woman, you are missing a great deal.”
