Actress May Yul Edochie has spoken out about criticism she has received, particularly from men, since filing for divorce from her ex-husband, Yul Edochie, in 2023.
In an interview on the ‘Glasshouse‘ podcast with actor and comedian AY Makun, she sought to clarify a common misconception about her.
“Some men see me as someone who is misleading their wives,” she said, aiming to address these views.
May went on to express her deep respect for family and marriage, emphasizing their importance in her life.
“I love family and I love marriage, but there is this misconception about marriage that is totally different. Ideally, marriage is the basis of family. Without family, there would be no you or me; that’s how it used to be,” she explained.
