The Naira strengthened against the United States Dollar by 3.6 per cent or N59.71 at the Nigerian Autonomous Foreign Exchange Market (NAFEX) on Friday to exchange at N1,600.78/$1 compared with the N1,660.49/$1 it closed in the previous session.

The improved in the value of the Nigerian Naira yesterday was bolstered by an enhanced forex liquidity as the value of transactions increased by 6.2 per cent or $20.54 million to $350.72 million from the $330.18 million achieved a day earlier, according to data obtained from the FMDQ Securities Exchange.
