Infinix Smart 9 is the latest iteration of the Infinix Smart Series. Compared to the Infinix Smart 8, this model offers hardware and software refresh. Infinix Smart 9 features a 6.7-inch display, a 13-megapixel AI camera, Android 14 (Go Edition), IP54 support for dust and slash resistance, and a 5000 mAh battery.
The front of this cheap Android phone looks very similar to the Smart 8. You get a 6.7-inch punch-hole display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, Dynamic Bar, 120Hz refresh rate, and 500 nits brightness. The display comes with the Always-On feature. The Always on display comes on once you pick up the phone. Infinix Smart 9 features the same camera specs as its predecessor. Infinix Smart 9 runs Android 14 (Go Edition) with XOS 14 on a Mediatek Helio G81 chipset. The chipset is built on the same 12nm technology as the Unisoc T606 provided for the Infinix Smart 8 and the Smart 8 HD. However, the Helio G81 is a better performer than the Unisoc T606 and offers a more fluid and smooth experience.
