Influencer Verydarkman Detained by Police After Responding To Invitation

Popular social media influencer Martins Otse, known as Verydarkman (VDM), has been detained by the Nigeria Police Force.

His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, announced the detention on Facebook, stating that VDM was arrested after responding to a police invitation.

In his words;

“Our client, VDM has been detained after honouring police invitation just like yesterday.”

“VDM has been consistent in saying the Nigerian Police are our friends even when we all know they are not”.

Adeyanju noted that VDM had often expressed trust in the Nigerian police, despite challenges with the force.

The detention may be related to a recent viral video in which VDM appeared in a police uniform.
