Abubakar Audu kept trying to win the election but kept losing and just when it seemed he was winning, something happened....Read to the end...


In 2003, Abubakar Audu contested to be governor of Kogi State but lost to the unknown Ibrahim Idris.
In 2007, he contested and lost again to the incumbent governor, Idris.
In 2008, after the Supreme Court annulled the election that brought Idris into office, there was a fresh election in which Audu contested against Idris for the third time and lost again. 

In 2012, Audu contested again but lost to Idris Wada.
In 2015, Audu contested against Wada and was winning the race when he suddenly died of a heart attack on November 22, 2015, before the results were finally announced by INEC (his party won). #HistoryVille
