Harry Maguire Celebrates Against Porto

Harry Maguire came off the bench to rescue Manchester United from defeat against Porto to play out a 3-3 draw in the Europa League.

The Red Devils failed to bounce back from a disappointing 3-0 home loss to Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday.

Marcus Rashford opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a superb finish.

Rasmus Hojlund doubled the lead for Manchester United in the 20th minute.

Pepe reduced the deficit to make it 2-1 from a rebound in the 27th minute.

Samu Omorodion restored parity for Porto with a powerful header six minutes later to make it 2-2 going into the break.

Five minutes after the restart, Omorodion gave Porto the lead with a close range finish.

Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes was sent off for a high boot challenge after two yellow cards.

Substitute Harry Maguire rescued Manchester United from the defeat with a header from a Christian Eriksen’s corner in the 91st minute to grab a point for the visitors.

Manchester United have now earned two points from their first two matches in the Europa League after playing out a 1-1 draw against Twente in match day one.
