Nigeria’s Josh Maja lone strike is enough for West Brom to pick maximum at stake as West Brom Albion defeated Wayne Rooney totoured Plymouth side in the English Championship played on Saturday.
Josh Maja broke the ice in the 62nd minute and it continues West Brom’s good start to the season and took his season’s tally to six.
West Brom who also Super Eagles defender Semi Ajayi in their ranks and played his part in the defence stopping Plymouth, who recorded a shock victory over Sunderland FC last weekend.
Ajayi’s great display at the back gave West Brom another clean sheet, making three on the bounce for the Baggies, racking up fifth win of the seaaon.
