NPFL champions Enugu Rangers crash out of CAF Champions League

Nigeria will again not be represented in the money-spinning group stage of the CAF Champions League after NPFL champions Enugu Rangers crashed out in the playoffs to Angola’s Esperanca Sagrada today.

Sagrada won 3-1 today to go through to the group stage 3-2 on aggregate.

Nigeria’s other representatives, Remo Stars, were knocked out of the Champions League in the previous round of the competition.
