Orlando Pirates and Super Eagles defender, Olisa Ndah will miss the remainder of the season due to a tibia fracture, as confirmed by the South African Premier League club.
Ndah sustained the injury during a league match against Polokwane City, causing him to miss the recent international window.
He featured for the Super Eagles earlier in September, coming on as a substitute in their 3-0 victory over Benin Republic in Uyo, and was an unused substitute in the goalless draw against Rwanda in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

This season, Ndah has made nine appearances and contributed to six clean sheets for Orlando Pirates. However, the club’s medical department revealed on Wednesday that he will not return to action until 2025.
“The Bucs medical department has confirmed that the 26-year-old has suffered a tibia fracture,” the club statement read.
“Due to the location and nature of the injury, the decision on surgery is not straightforward, but based on this type of injury, Ndah has been ruled out for the rest of the year.”
In addition to Ndah, several other players are also facing extended spells on the sidelines due to injuries.
The club reported that Thalente Mbatha, Bandile Shandu, Tapelo Xoki, Goodman Mosele, Zakhele Lepasa, Thabiso Lebitso, Sandile Mthethwa, and Ethan Visagie are also dealing with significant injuries.
Initially, the club had hoped Ndah’s injury was minor, but it has since been confirmed that he will be sidelined for the rest of the season.
