Messi and Bad Bunny teamed up with Adidas for the release of an iconic shoe collection.

Latin music superstar Bad Bunny and Inter Miami star Lionel Messi have joined forces to create an Adidas collection that’s making waves in both music and sports circles.

The new Adidas collection, aptly named the Bad Bunny & Messi Collection, features the iconic Adidas Gazelle sneaker, which dates back to 1966, and the F50 cleat, a design Messi wore throughout his illustrious career.

Messi expressed his excitement for the collaboration, particularly his admiration for Bad Bunny’s music.

"We really like his music. We have been following him for a long time, and there is always some song of his on the playlists we listen to. It's part of the mix that always plays," Messi told ESPN

He highlighted the special connection he and Bad Bunny share with the Latin American community, now even more relevant as he lives in Miami.

"For me, and I suppose also for Bad Bunny, the Latin community has enormous importance in our lives. A large part of our fans are Latino, and there is a bond of language, culture, and society that is very special,” he added.

Bad Bunny says it’s "A Dream Come True” to collaborate with Messi

Bad Bunny, currently the world’s most streamed Latin artist and fresh off multiple Billboard Latin Music Awards, described the collaboration as nothing short of a dream realized.

"I have always been a fan of Messi, so collaborating with him is a dream come true," Bad Bunny said as per ESPN.

“Obviously, I admire his talent and excellence in the game, but I've also seen him as an example of how to stay humble, let your work speak for itself, and stay focused.”

Adidas design director Rafael Mayorga worked closely with the duo, blending vintage Adidas Gazelle elements with modern design nods, such as Messi's golden bottom on the cleat.

The attention to detail includes “Benito” and “Leo” inscriptions, making the collection deeply personal for both icons.
