The Nigerian Senate has begun screening seven new ministerial nominees sent by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for approval.

The nominees up for screening include Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Hon. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata, Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, and Suwaiba Said Ahmad, Ph.D. Their names appeared on the Senate’s list for review on Wednesday.

This screening is taking place at the National Assembly’s Senate chamber, after being postponed from Tuesday.

Previously, President Tinubu removed six ministers, appointed seven new nominees, and adjusted ten ministerial roles.
