A public exchange erupted between Senator Shehu Sani, former Kaduna Central representative, and Hadiza El-Rufai, former Kaduna First Lady, on X
Sani initiated the exchange with a post suggesting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s international travels correlate with increased taxes and commodity prices.
He wrote, “New law of economics; When the President travels out, Taxes and Prices goes up.”
Hadiza El-Rufai, known for correcting grammatical errors, pointed out Sani’s mistake, stating it should be “go up” instead of “goes up.”
Sani responded, addressing her as “mummy” and asking her to leave him alone. “I unfollowed you and you unfollowed me. And you still de hang around me. Mummy, leave me alone abeg.”
