“She was very active and healthy” – Laide Bakare recalls her last moment with Saidi Balogun’s late daughter on movie set as she mourns her

Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has joined her colleagues in mourning the death of Zeenat Balogun, the daughter of veteran, Saidi Balogun.

Taking to her Instagram page, she shared a TikTok video of her and Zeenat on a movie set as she recalled her last moments with her. She described the deceased as a very active and healthy young lady as she questioned whether such a person could be late. Laide stated that she woke up to some negative hearsay about her death, and she was with her on a set last month.

Laide added that she had reached out to Saidi, but she couldn’t get to him.

“Woke up to some negative hearsay About @Zeenatbaogun. This was just on set last month; a very active and healthy young lady; how can she? What’s this talk about? This is not clear o!! I tried @saidibalogun immediately, couldn’t reach him. E gba mi! Ki Lon Se le?? Deleting post soon Abeg!”.

Kemi Filani reported that Saidi Balogun, via his Instagram page, shared a photo of a candlelight with flowers surrounding it, with several birds and heartbroken emojis.

Many of his colleagues had sent in their condolence messages.

Taking to her Instagram page, Allwell Ademola shared a candlelight photo as she expressed how shocked she is over the news. She prayed that it was all a dream.

Kunle Afod told the veteran to take heart.

Yomi Fash Lanso prayed that God console him, cushion his pains, and wipe away his tears.

Adeniyi Johnson sent him his condolence message and Ronke Oshodi Oke noted how no words can ease his pains as she prays he finds strength in the love and support surrounding him.

In August, actor, Francis Duru lost his son, Ifeanyi. The light-skinned actor made the news known on his Instagram page as he compared his son to a lion who fought fiercely for his life. The actor stated that if this was how God wanted it, so be it, and he wouldn’t judge him.

In August, comedian Aphrican Ace and his wife grieved the loss of their newborn son, who came out earlier than expected. He noted how his son was doing pretty well for a 26-weeker, but their joy was cut short as on July 28th, they got a call that he had gotten a bacterial infection, which led to his death. The comedian stated that he had never experienced such pain before as he noted how they quickly went from plans for him coming home to now talking to funeral homes.

Last year, on Father’s Day, skit maker Olagunju Solomon Olamide, better known as Akika, lost his son. The skitmaker made the sad news known on his Instagram page as he stated that he was looking for the perfect picture of himself and his son to post online before his demise.
