Student k!dnaps 10-year-old neighbor for MONEY RITUAL

In Masvingo, a shocking event unfolded when an 18-year-old student was arrested for kidnapping his 10-year-old neighbor with the intention of using him for a money ritual.

The young boy, Tawana, went missing for three days before being found after a police investigation led to the arrest of the suspect, Peter, a Form 4 student at Vision Academy.

During questioning, Peter confessed that he had planned to take Tawana to Chipinge, where people had asked for the boy’s head for ritual purposes.

In his unsettling confession, Peter said, “When I took this child, they had told me to find a head and bring it.”

The confession, captured on video, shows Tawana’s grandmother crying, while his mother, furious and shocked, confronts Peter.

She demands answers, asking him, “So, you wanted to sacrifice my child? Peter, did you really plan to do this? What did Tawana do to you? What did we do to deserve this? You have no shame!”

In the same video, Tawana’s mother scolds her son for not heeding warnings to avoid older friends like Peter.

She says, “Tawana, you hear what your friend was up to? We always warned you not to play with this older guy. Look what he wanted to do—he wanted to get you killed.”

The video ends suddenly, but the incident has shaken the community, raising fears about the safety of children and who parents can trust with their care.
