Super Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin and several other well-meaning Nigerians have donated cash to mobilise the Flying Eagles ahead of their U20 AFCON qualifying semifinal against Niger Republic.

Ndidi has donated five Million Naira, while the Deputy Senate President Barau gave two Million Naira.

The chairman of Crystal Sapphire Ltd. Frank Peters doled out N1.5M with a pledge of another huge sum if the team beat Niger Republic to the AFCON ticket in the semifinals.

Also, a member of the football family, Victor Apugo, gifted a Million Naira with a promise to make it three Million Naira when the Flying Eagles fly past Niger.

Meanwhile, the Flying Eagles have received a Million Naira promised by Switzerland-based Nigerian coach, Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony, for beating Cote d’Ivoire in a crucial Group B match..

Mavlon FC chairman, Kenneth Agadugba, has deposited two Million Naira with a pledge to make it 12M if the team soared high to the tournament final.

Earlier Thursday, a senior staff member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) also dished out a Million Naira and another member of the football fraternity who doesn’t want his name in print, rewarded the team with 1.5 Million Naira.
