Super Eagles star snubs CAF POTY favourite Lookman, Osimhen picks Nigeria's most skillful player

Super Eagles star has named his most skillful player in the national team, ignoring Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.

Nigeria has a large number of talented players in Europe, the majority of whom play in the top five leagues.

Ola Aina, who also plays in Europe, has been an integral part of the Super Eagles team since making his debut for Nigeria in 2017. 

Since making his debut, he has made 40 appearances for the Nigerian national team and played a huge part in the team's progress at the 2023 AFCON tournament.

Aina picks most skillful player 

Nottingham Forest defender Aina has stated that Alex Iwobi is the most skillful player in the Super Eagles team.

Aina said on the Counter Attack podcast, “Alex Iwobi is the most skillful player on the team. If you’re going to say Samuel Chukwueze, he has the body movement, but we are talking about skills.”

Aina pointed out that when it comes to body movement, you can mention Samuel Chukwueze, but talking about skill, Iwobi is the team's most talented player.

Iwobi has been an integral part of the Super Eagles team and also an important player for Fulham since joining the team.

The midfielder has started the new season flying, having scored two goals and provided one assist in nine appearances.

Meanwhile, Aina has also revealed the hardest opponent to defend against in the Super Eagles team.
