The Super Eagles are certainly in for a torrid time in Libya after their chartered flight was diverted to another city an hour to landing in Benghazy, held for long hours by immigration and have to make a bus trip, officials said.
It was gathered that the team were held for several hours at the Al Abaq Airport in Al Abaq before they were finally granted entry visas to Libya.
The Super Eagles thereafter have to endure a two-hour road trip from Al Abaq to Benghazy.
The NFF have since released a video clip that showed the team held up by Libyan authorities.
Libya had claimed they were poorly treated when they landed at the Port Harcourt Airport prior to the first 2025 AFCON qualifier in Uyo.
SCORENigeria can also report that Rwanda also complained of poor reception by the Libyans when they played against them in Tripoli last month.
Despite the ill treatment, Rwanda forced the home team to a 1-1 draw in another 2025 AFCON qualifier.
