Nigerian defender Ashleigh Plumptre contributed four goals as Al Ittihad demolished Jeddah on Friday night.
Plumptre recently returned from a long-term injury and played her second game for the Saudi Arabian side.
The 26-year-old defender has been out of action for a long time and returned after a successful surgery.
Al Ittihad were ruthless in the game, defeating Jeddah 13-1 in the SAFF Women’s Cup and advancing to the next round.
Plumptre returns with a bang
Plumptre scored one goal and provided three assists to help Al Ittihad achieve their largest victory since a 14-0 thumping of Albayraq in 2022.
In the fourth minute, the defender, who was a central midfielder, helped Lili Iskandar score Al Ittihad's second goal.
Eleven minutes later, Plumptre registered a goal to make the score 5-0 for her team following her impressive performance.
In the 29th and 45th minutes, the Super Falcons star added two more assists, giving Al Ittihad a 9-nil lead at the end of the first half.
However, Plumptre was substituted at halftime as the manager looked to manage her fitness level following her injury.
